About the role

As the first point of contact, the Customer Service Advisor plays an integral role within VMCH. The Customer Service Advisor is responsible for providing personalised, 5-star customer experiences, to both current and future customers, by listening to their needs and enquiries, proactively promoting VMCH services, directing them to the appropriate area and accurately recording a summary of the conversation.  This is a part time role 3 days per week based in the city office.  

We’re in a terrific city location, just 1 min walk from Parliament station, with easy access to plenty of shopping, cafes and bars nearby. 

 

About you

You have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in aged care and disability services, you will be dealing with customers on the phone and face to face.  You will be an exceptional communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, you display empathy, compassion and understanding when supporting people from diverse backgrounds.

You will require the following skills -

  • positive and proactive approach to working collaboratively within the team and the broader community.
  • knowledge of the Aged Care or Disability sector
  • display initiative and have the ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively to meet competing demands
  • enter and maintain the CRM system and monitor call back systems
