  • East Melbourne, VIC, Australia, 3002
  • Full time
  • Implement creative go-to-market campaigns
  • Enjoy awesome work/life balance opportunities and salary packaging

About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Marketing Coordinator to help us drive high-impact marketing campaigns! You’ll be working with a lively bunch of marketing, communications and sales professionals to help elevate the VMCH brand, drive engagement, promote our services and achieve lead generation and conversation targets.

We work in the service industry – delivering high quality aged care, disability, retirement and education services to over 9,000 Victorians. The health care industry is one of the fastest growing in Australia, so if you’re looking for career-longevity, joining a service industry like ours is a smart move!

Go home each day knowing you’ve made a difference in people’s lives by joining a values-oriented team, committed to helping improve the lives of others.

While based in East Melbourne, we offer terrific work/life balance opportunities to the right candidate. Enjoy our hybrid working model with 2-3 days in the office and the rest from home. We’re in a terrific city location with easy access to public transport and plenty of shopping, cafes and bars nearby.

What you’ll do

  • Campaign execution: implement integrated marketing campaign plans utilising digital and traditional media platforms.
  • Content planning: design personalised customer journeys to identify/solve consumer pain points and maximise conversion opportunities.
  • Content development: supported by our comms team, build core content and collateral that articulates our value proposition.
  • Marketing automation: help us deliver targeted campaigns and messaging via our marketing automation platform.
  • Digital marketing: plan, produce and schedule inspiring content across multiple channels including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, email, SMS, web content, blogs, videos, memes, live steams, information sessions and more.
  • Events marketing: work in partnership with the wider team to plan and organise promotional, social and industry events.
  • Performance tracking and reporting: measure insights, evaluate what’s working (and what isn’t) and provide regular reporting to the wider business.
  • Business support: provide support to the management team and other related duties as assigned.

Who you are

  • Focused: You’re systematic and results oriented.
  • Conscientious: You love being organised, sticking to your priorities and demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
  • Empathetic: You seek to understand and share the feelings of another. You want to know what it’s like to walk in someone else’s shoes.
  • Inquisitive: You’re willing to learn, keen to dive in the deep end and eager to think outside the box.
  • Collaborative: You work well in a team environment, you’re willing to take direction and enjoy sharing your ideas and learning from others.
  • Creative: You seek new and better ways of doing things and have a flair for imaginative ideas.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor degree or higher qualification in marketing/communications/business or comparable experience.
  • Three+ years’ experience in a marketing, content or campaign role.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media and digital marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Adept in managing large and multi-faceted projects while being creative with limited resources.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage your workload in a fast-paced, campaign environment within a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong customer focus and high-level verbal communication and interpersonal skills in order to develop positive relationships within and outside the organisation.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (WordPress).
