About the role

As a Residential Support Worker (RSW), you will provide personalised quality care and support to our VMCH residents who live in a shared supported accommodation based in Glen Waverley.

We currently have a permanent part-time opportunity and have the following shifts available:

  • 6.30am – 9.30am from Monday to Friday
  • 2.30pm – 9.00pm from Monday to Friday
  • 3.30pm – 10.00pm from Monday to Friday
  • 7.00am – 4.00pm on Saturday and Sunday

About the SDA Glen Waverley

Our fantastic architecturally designed five-bedroom house is located in a quiet residential street and close to a range of amenities including Glen Waverley train station, shopping centres, cafes, restaurants and parks, making it a wonderful community to work and live in.  

The house also features two bright large open-plan living spaces, large fully equipped kitchen, landscaped outdoor living area with undercover BBQ and water features, family room and staff bedroom. 

Skills & Experience

You will hold a Certificate IV in Disability and have demonstrated experience working with and providing person-centered care to people with a disability and / or additional needs. You will also have:

  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Basic level of computer and administration skills 
  • Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate 
  • Current valid Driver’s Licence, Car Insurance and Car Registration
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
  • Relevant flu vaccination for 2022 and COVID-19 vaccination including 3rd booster
