About the role
VMCH Community Connections is offered to children, teenagers and individuals over 18. Gateway is one of our programs within Community Connections and is a lifestyle respite day program designed to enhance the independence and support the rights, interests and goals of individuals living with a disability.
We have a wonderful opportunity for a Disability Support Worker to join the Gateway team in Camberwell to facilitate a range of activities including, but not limited to; music and dancing, cooking, budgeting, travel, day trips to the zoo or cinema, painting and creative arts, swimming, gardening and much more. The program runs between Monday to Friday from 9am – 3pm / 3.30pm and we are offering permanent part-time shifts working 3-5 days a week.
