About the role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities? We’re seeking casual staff to work in our social enterprises, WIMC Café, Green Team Gardening and Cre8 Shed programs based in Wangaratta. 

These hands-on roles are perfect for someone with a background in a trade or experience in gardening or hospitality who enjoy teaching practical skills in a supportive, community-focused environment.   

About you

You’ll play a key part in the social enterprise operations, supporting participants to learn, grow, and have fun.  You will build strong relationships with participants, families, and community partners, ensuring the programs deliver high-quality, person-centred outcomes.

Key requirements

  • Experience in the disability sector and/or a trade/handyperson/ gardening or hospitality role.
  • Confident using tools and equipment, with a passion for sharing knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability (highly desirable).
  • Promote the program within the community and contribute to its ongoing development
  • Flexible, creative, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Worker Induction Module certificate  (or willingness to obtain
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR, Working with Children Check (WWCC), and valid Driver’s License.
