About the role 

The Policy Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the policy management framework. They will primarily be responsible for ensuring policies are kept up to date and to facilitate the drafting of the policies with other executives, managers and staff.   

 

About you

You have highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Your interpersonal skills are exceptional, and they enable you to build and strengthen effective working relationships. You have strong analytical skills, allowing you to accurately interpret and classify information, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume work environment.

 

Required experience

  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in the field of information management, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
  • Previous experience and sound knowledge of working in a records management environment
  • Experience in the establishment and maintenance of Business Classification Schemes
  • Relevant experience utilising information technology and electronic document management systems
  • Understanding of records and archives legislation, regulatory compliance frameworks and best practice standards
