About the role

As the Procurement Officer at VMCH you will be responsible for engaging with key business areas to understand stakeholder requirements and ensure value for money outcomes. As part of your business partnering approach, you will provide training and support to staff regarding procurement processes and governance. Other responsibilities include procurement administration, policy and procedure monitoring, plus ongoing helpdesk support and reporting across the Procure to Pay (P2P) cycle. 

About you

You have in depth knowledge of end-to-end procurement and purchasing functions within a large, high-governance organisation. Your organisational and time management skills are exceptional, and you can prioritise tasks effectively to meet competing deadlines. You have highly developed, customer service, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, allowing you to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across a large and diverse organisation. Your commitment to quality client service can be seen in the way you analyse and resolve client and system issues with great enthusiasm.
