About the role
Your primary responsibility is to assist residents, their families, and guests, as well as all internal stakeholders and visitors with their hospitality needs in a timely and professional manner. Working closely with the Manager at Barnsbury, you will assist with booking and coordinating functions by liaising with external food and beverage suppliers. You will support our Residents in their day to day lives by receiving mail and deliveries, and arranging a variety of services such as dry cleaning, prescriptions and taxis as required. In addition, you will provide a range of administrative support to the Manager and undertake basic housekeeping duties to ensure that common areas are always maintained impeccably to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our Residents.
About you
You have previous experience as a receptionist or administration officer, and a passion for providing first-class customer service. Your interpersonal and communication skills are exceptional, and you display compassion and patience when assisting our residents. Working in a fast-paced environment and managing your time effectively is a walk in the park (or our lovely garden!), due to your flexible approach and ability to prioritise. You take pride in the work you do, have a keen eye for detail, and display initiative and common sense when making decisions or solving problems. You’re a natural people-person who enjoys working in a team environment, and you have a strong understanding of quality service delivery.
