Senior Employee Relations Advisor

About the role

The Senior Employee Relations Advisor will guide and support the team on complex employee relations and industrial matters, focusing on policy development, workplace investigations, enterprise agreements, and change management.

  • Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and case management.
  • Support enterprise agreement negotiations and implementation.
  • Advise on legislative changes, policy amendments, and employment contract updates.
  • Partner with stakeholders across all levels on employee and industrial relations matters.
  • Represent VMCH in external tribunals and liaise with external advisors as needed.
  • Provide training and updates on changes to employment law.

 

About you 

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Relevant postgraduate Master’s qualification/ Bachelor of Law.
  • Proven experience in a senior advisory role with expertise in employment law and employee relations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business analysis.
  • Experience in union environments and the aged/disability care or health sector.
