Phone screen
Given how much has changed over the last couple of years, you would expect the interview process would have changed too, right?
Currently, we might start off the recruitment process by doing a quick phone screen. Your resume is great but we want to learn a little bit more about you.
Phone screens can be stressful, but don’t forget to relax and take a deep breath! We’ll simply ask you to expand on your resume. Take this as your opportunity to demonstrate your skills, what you’re passionate about, and why you want to work at VMCH.

So, your phone screen was successful, and now you’ve made it through to an interview. Congratulations!
An interview isn’t just about discussing your skills it’s also an opportunity to see if you’d be a good team fit. This is your opportunity to shine. Tell us everything about yourself and why you’re the right person for the role.

We may conduct your interview online or face-to-face.
Pre-work checks
We love you. You love us. But before we can officially welcome you to the team, we need to conduct a few pre-work checks. This varies, depending on the role, but typically we conduct reference checks, a police check, Working with Children Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check. You may also require proof of working rights, a annual Flu Vaccination and Covid-19 Vaccination (unless you hold a medical exemption).
