About the role
As an Administration Officer within our At Home Aged Care team, you will be part of a dedicated and supportive group delivering services to approximately 1,200 Support at Home clients and more than 500 Commonwealth Home Support Programme clients across Victoria.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring VMCH meets government compliance requirements, delivers high‑quality customer service, and maintains robust administrative processes that support the smooth operation of the service.
The role operates on a hybrid working arrangement, with four days based in the office and one day working from home each week. Standard working hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Your focus will include:
- Provide administrative support across various services
- Maintain contractor compliance documentation and records
- Manage incoming enquiries via phone and email, offering prompt and friendly service
- Prepare documents, excel spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence
- Complete accurate data entry and maintain client records
- Assist with invoice processing, reconciliation and other admin tasks as required
- Support continuous improvement, quality, and WHS processes
About you

Essential
- Certificate III (or higher) in Business Administration (preferred)
- Excellent computer skills – MS Outlook, Word & Excel
- Strong communication, organisation and relationship‑building capabilities
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Experience in the aged care sector, Home Care Packages, Medicare claiming or similar (highly desirable)
- Experience using Carelink or similar client management software
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
