Corpus Christi Community Greenvale is a longstanding service that has been providing compassionate care and support to older men facing adversity since 1977. In December 2023, Corpus Christi Community Greenvale joined like-minded, values driven organisation VMCH, to ensure residents maintained a secure and nurturing environment, and offering stability to dedicated staff, well into the future.

Corpus Christi Community Greenvale offers a safe haven and support to marginalised older men who have experienced homelessness, battled addiction, or face complex health challenges. We strive to provide them with a fresh start, one that is safe, secure, and ingrained with a sense of independence, all within a vibrant community.

If you are a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Osteopath and looking to make a difference by giving back to the community and supporting the elders who contributed to developing our community, we are a match!

We are looking for Allied Health professionals to work as part of a friendly and close-knit team across VMCH site/s. Your focus will be:

  • Assess and design treatment programs for residents to improve or maintain current level of physical function
  • Provision of group exercise classes and individualised program as required to suit the residents’ needs in accordance with ANACC
  • Conduct mobility assessments for care and continually monitor outcomes
  • Ensure accurate assessment and documentation entries are completed, providing timely handover to the nursing and care staff.

About you

You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles, you will need:

  • Bachelor of appropriate Allied Health field with current AHPRA registration
  • Expertise in assessment and the ability to design appropriate treatment programs and ensure the delivery of the program
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with managers, residents, clinical and administration staff
  • High level computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • The ability to work both autonomously and within a team 
  • Willingness to travel to different sites (if required)
