About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Client Engagement Liaison to support growth and occupancy across VMCH Disability Services. This role plays a key part in connecting prospective clients, families, support networks and referrers with VMCH services, while building strong relationships across disability referral pathways.
Reporting to the Client Engagement Manager, you will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote VMCH as a preferred disability service provider across our Disability Services.
About you
You are a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and making a positive difference. You bring a proactive, results‑focused approach and are comfortable managing a diverse client pipeline. You will represent VMCH at disability expo’s conduct site tours and support the intake and onboarding of new clients and respond to service enquiries promptly and professionally focusing on resolving issues and objections. You will have an outstanding knowledge of NDIS funding.
Key requirements
- Demonstrated experience in the disability services sector
- Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy and sensitivity when dealing with complex situations
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholder to support occupancy and growth targets
- Strong presentation, customer service and relationship‑building skills
- Sound knowledge of NDIS reforms, policies and funding models
- The ability to manage a large and varied client list
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and data entry systems
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
- A positive and resilient approach to growth and change
- A current Victorian driver’s licence, NDIS Screening check, First Aid and CPR will be required for this role.
