About the role

As the Clinical Governance Advisor, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating clinical governance frameworks, policies and processes across VMCH.

You will provide expert advice and support to senior leaders, managers and staff on clinical governance matters, including risk management, incident reporting, quality improvement, accreditation and compliance.

You will also facilitate and coordinate clinical governance committees, working groups and projects, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

 

About you

You have a tertiary qualification in nursing, allied health or a related discipline, and current registration with the relevant professional body. In addition, you have extensive experience in clinical leadership and governance, quality and risk management, preferably in the disability or aged care sector.

You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Highly organised in your approach, you display outstanding time management and project management skills, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

You will also have strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and a sound knowledge of relevant legislation, accreditation frameworks and funding models.
