About the role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities? We’re seeking an enthusiastic and creative Coordinator to lead our exciting Cr8 Shed program. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a trade or handyperson background who enjoys teaching practical skills in a supportive, community-focused environment.   

This is a permanent part time role based in Wangaratta reporting to the Team Leader – Cre8 Programs. 

About you

You’ll play a key part in the Cr8 Shed operations, supporting participants to learn, grow, and have fun. The coordinator will manage daily operations, manage and roster the team creating a positive team environment.  Build strong relationships with participants, families, and community partners, ensuring the program delivers high-quality, person-centred outcomes.

Key requirements

  • Experience in the disability sector and/or a trade/handyperson role.
  • Confident using tools and power tools, with a passion for sharing knowledge.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to motivate and inspire others.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability (highly desirable).
  • Promote the program within the community and contribute to its ongoing development
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Worker Induction Module certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR, Working with Children Check (WWCC), and valid Driver’s License.
  • Flexible, creative, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients
