About the role

We are looking for a passionate Coordinator, Disability Services to lead our passionate team in Wangaratta and support our clients reach their goals and celebrate their achievements and contributions.

In this role, you will have a chance to apply your interests and knowledge in developing, promoting, coordinating model of community-based respite programs.  

About you

To be successful in this role you will be experienced in the delivery of active educational programs for clients developing activities, resources and tools that are focused on client goals.   Excellent communication skills are essential in supporting the team to achieve a consistent service approach.  You will support and inspire the team to ensure a strong participant focus across all VMCH services.  

  • Tertiary qualifications in Disability or related discipline desired but not essential
  • Experience working with clients with diverse disabilities.
  • Outstanding ability to support a high performing team.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent ability to respond and resolve issues/concerns for clients, families or their representatives.
  • Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to priorities competing demands.
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • A valid Working with Children’s Check
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
