About the role

The role of the Customer Care Officer is to be the first responder to all reactive work requests for VMCH sites maintained by the Property Team.

The Customer Care Officer is the first point of contact for all VMCH residents and staff wishing to log work orders.  They use a prepared script of questions and discussion points to determine the nature of the work order, the urgency of the situation, and the best course of action to rectify the issue.  The Customer Care Officer is responsible for following up the work requests and keeping the requester up to date regarding progress in resolving the work request.

The Customer Care Officer is also responsible for providing administration support to the Property team and coding invoices for accounts payable processing. 

About you

You have previous experience working in a Customer Care or Call Centre environment.  An effective communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, you easily build strong relationships with people at all levels of an organisation. You have well-developed problem-solving skills and value the importance of patience and common sense when assisting customers. In addition, you have exceptional prioritisation and organisational skills, with experience meeting deadlines and attending to multiple tasks.
