About the role
Passionate Disability Support Workers required for direct care casual positions in the Southeast area to provide high-quality person-centred care to our clients living with a disability, empowering them to live the life of their choice.
These are casual positions; permanent part time options may become available.
About you
You will be an experienced Disability Support Worker supporting clients with Autism, epilepsy and behaviours of concern. You will have excellent communication skills and build relationships easily with clients.
You will be joining a friendly, passionate team to support clients.
Role requirements
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Experience supporting clients with autism – preferred
- Extensive experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector
- Passion for providing ‘person centred care’
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Current full Victorian Driver licence
- NDIS Check, WWC and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Ability to work a roster weekday, weekends, morning, afternoon, and sleepover shifts.
