About the role
Our Kialla SDA has a vacancy for Disability Support Workers. These casual DSW roles provide high-quality person-centered care to people living with disability empowering them to live the life of their choosing in a residential setting.
You will require a full Victorian Drivers license and reliable motor vehicle.
About you
You will be an experienced Disability Support Worker with excellent communication skills supporting clients and their families, you will provide exceptional care, arrange outings and empower clients to live their best lives. You will be joining a supportive team environment.
To be successful in this role you will require
- Certificate III Individual Support or Disability
- Previous experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector
- Passion for providing ‘person centered care’
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Current Victorian Driver license
- NDIS Check, WWC and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Ability to work Monday – Sunday both am and pm shifts and sleepovers.
