About the role

Passionate Disability Support Workers required for our female only Supported Accommodation Home located in Lilydale. The DSW will provide high-quality person-centred care to our residents living with a disability, empowering them to live the life of their choice in a residential setting.   

This is a part time role, the shifts are of morning, afternoon, sleepover weekdays and weekends shifts.  

About you

You will be an experienced, passionate Disability Support Worker who enjoys working in an accommodation setting supporting residents with disability.    

You will be working within a friendly, passionate team to support clients and their families’ providing care and arranging outings to ensure a positive environment for all.

Role requirements  

  • Certificate IV Individual Support or Disability
  • Previous experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector
  • Passion for providing ‘person centred care’
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Current full Victorian Driver licence 
  • NDIS Check, WWC and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work a roster weekday, weekends, morning, afternoon, and sleepover shifts.
