About the role
The Gateways program provides community-based respite programs that support people of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals. We currently have a vacancy for Disability Support Workers at our Mt Waverley program.
As a DSW in the Gateways program you will arrange with activities ie cooking, painting, or games, engage clients in community programs, and assist personal care to ensure programs are efficient and client focused and meet the needs of the participants.
About you
To be successful in the Disability Support Worker Gateways position you will be an experienced DSW who enjoys variety, you will be adept at arranging engaging activities ensuring client goals are met, taking clients to programs in the community and spending time one on one when required. You will support the team to ensure a strong client focus.
