About the role
VMCH Disability Services Wangaratta provides direct care 1-1 support and group programs for children and adults living with a disability in a friendly engaging environment.
About you
You are a passionate Disability Support Worker who enjoys working with children or adults, either in group programs or through one‑to‑one support. Your role may involve providing personal care, supporting daily activities, or transporting clients to appointments. Casual shifts are available across mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, and camps.
Role requirements
- Passion for working with children and adults with a disability
- Previous experience in Disability or Community sector - ideally
- Certificate III Individual Support or Certificate IV Disability or similar - preferred
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- NDIS Check, WWC and Current First Aid Certificate and CPR required
- Current Victorian Driver licence
- Flexibility to work early morning, afternoon, evening, sleepover shifts and attend camps when required.
