About the role

We are looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to provide quality care and support to people with disability to empower them to achieve their goals and live a life of their choosing.

As a Disability Support Worker (DSW) you will be working in a variety of areas including Day programs, Life skill prorams, One to One support, Supporting our clients with their transition to employment.

These are casual positions across weekdays/ weekends, shifts range between 7.00am – 8.00pm.  

About you 

You will be an experienced DSW who enjoys variety and can easily adapt to the requirements of the role. 

To be successful you will require:  

• Certificate IV in Disability (preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector
• Providing quality care and support empowering people with disabilities to live the lifestyle of their choosing
• Passion for providing ‘person centred care’
• Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Current Victorian Driver licence
• NDIS Check, WWC and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR are essential
