About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic, approachable, and self-driven Endorsed Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality care. In this role, you’ll support our residents’ daily needs while empowering them to maintain independence and do as much as possible for themselves.
Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:
- Providing care according to the care plan, professional standards, policies and procedures
- Collect, analyse, and apply health and functional status information for residents, while monitoring and reporting progress to support their health goals and outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the RN, healthcare team, and the resident (or their medical decision-maker) to develop, monitor, and maintain an individualised care plan.
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with medication endorsement
- Experience assessing Aged Care Residents and formulating Care Plans
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteers
- Interpersonal skills, patience, common sense and a strong ethos of client service
- Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self-motivated
- Proficiency utilising information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS Office
