About the role
The primary role of the Concierge is to assist residents with their requests providing compassionate welcoming front of house services, attending to lifestyle and hospitality requests, arranging transport, assisting with urgent situations in a calm, confident manner.
In addition, the concierge is responsible for:
- Ensuring common areas are presented in a neat and tidy manner, reporting any requirements for repairs, maintenance and/or special cleaning
- Assisting with the morning opening and evening lockdown procedures ensuring security of the communal areas
- Assisting at in-house events and functions
- Attending to various administrative tasks
These shifts are from 5.00pm to 9.00pm weekdays, weekend shifts are from 9.00am to 5.00pm, sleepover shifts are also available.
About you
- Experience in a customer service, concierge, or reception role, preferably within a hospitality or retirement living setting
- Ability to follow up on requests for transport and hospitality maintain a high standard of service.
- A positive attitude, friendly personality and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm in urgent or emergency / urgent situation.
- Oversee the lockdown procedure and maintain security and safety of the precinct
Requirements
- Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
- First Aid Level 2 Certificate and CPR
