About the role

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager People Operations to lead and elevate our people function. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering a high-performing, responsive and compliant people operations model across the organisation.

 

Leading a team of eight, you will oversee Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR), People Services and a team of HR Business Partners. You will play a critical role in driving strategic people initiatives while ensuring operational excellence and a positive employee experience.

About you

You are passionate about people and are committed to building high-performing teams and enhancing the overall employee experience. A strong understanding of employment legislation and contemporary HR practices is essential to succeed in this role.

 

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience with over 10+ years in a senior HR leadership role, ideally overseeing diverse people functions
  • Strong expertise in ER and IR including handling complex cases
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR Business Partnering and Shared Services/People Services teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into operational outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at executive level
  • Passion for building high-performing teams and enhancing employee experience
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
