About the role 

VMCH Disability Services provides statewide, high-quality services aimed at supporting individuals to remain independent within the community.

We require an enthusiastic and creative Handyman to join the team to work in the Cr8 Shed.   You will provide assistance and encouragement to people living with a disability to learn skills and have fun!

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a trade or handyperson role would be advantageous.  You require a knowledge and capability in using tools and power tools and assisting other to learn.  You will enjoy working in a creative environment.   Experience working with in the Disability Sector highly regarded but not essential. 

• Outstanding communication skill, ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
• Certificate IV Disability – advantageous

• NDIS Worker Screening Check – willing to obtain.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Current valid full Driver’s Licence,
• Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
• Relevant flu and COVID-19 vaccination including 3rd booster.
