Homecare Support Worker / Workforce Administrator

About the role

This is a newly created hybrid role is perfect for homecare workers who are looking for a more office-based work, as a Homecare support worker, you will be providing one on one support to elderly members of our community to live more fulfilling and independent lives by providing person-centered care 2 days a week with the remaining 3 days functioning as a Workforce Administrator. You will provide company support with a wide array of functions such as:

  • Personal care (dressing, assist in drying and transfers)
  • Transportation to and from appointments
  • Maintaining a sanitary living environment
  • Responding to calls and emails
  • Handling a case load of up to 70 homecare support workers 
  • Processing leave requests
  • Facilitation of VMCH inductions

About you

You have a passion for caring for the older members of our community and their families while making a difference to someone’s everyday life. You have clear communication skills to support client engagement and a desire to assist clients in reaching their independence goals. You are tech savvy and have proven experience in programs such as Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.

Requirements of the role: 

  • Must have 5 days availability Monday to Friday
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent
  • Proficient in using technology 
  • Have a Victorian driving license and car
