About the Role

Are you a passionate HR professional ready to make a meaningful impact in aged care? VMCH is on the lookout for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Residential Aged Care division. This is your chance to work with a purpose-driven organisation that values people, community, and continuous improvement.

In this dynamic role, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things HR – coaching managers, driving change, and embedding best-practice people strategies across the business. You’ll help shape a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

 Partnering with Leaders

  • Collaborate with managers to implement HR frameworks, policies, and practices
  • Provide expert advice on performance, conduct, and change management
  • Coach leaders to build capability and confidence in people management

HR Operations & Strategy

  • Deliver high-quality HR services and support workforce planning
  • Manage performance and change initiatives
  • Provide industrial relations advice and deliver training

 HR Projects & Compliance

  • Maintain and update policies in line with legislation
  • Lead internal audits and support accreditation processes
  • Manage HR data and reporting for compliance

 Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance systems and processes
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence

About You

  • Tertiary or master’s qualification in Human Resources
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner (aged care experience a bonus!)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Skilled in employee relations, coaching, and consulting
  • Discreet, professional, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Confident using HRIS and data reporting tools
