About the role
We are looking for a seasoned IT Support Manager to lead our team and drive excellence in IT service delivery. In this role, you will ensure that our technology solutions meet the needs of VMCH staff, overseeing the daily operations of the Service Desk. You will collaborate closely with technology leaders and vendor partners to implement streamlined processes for issue management, enhancing efficiency and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

- Lead and manage the IT support team, including Service Desk Support.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract management
- Oversee the management of a 3rd party call centre.
- Take the lead on complex faults, issues and incidents.
- Ensure the operational and strategic management of technology services.
- Collaborate with various departments to support VMCH’s mission and strategic goals
About you
You are an accomplished IT Support Manager with strong technical expertise and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Passionate about improving systems and supporting people, you combine excellent communication and time management skills with a genuine commitment to developing and empowering your team.
- Proven experience in IT support management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
