About the role
We are looking for experienced enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Laundry Services Assistant to support residents in daily living,
Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:
- Collect, sort, wash, dry and distribute clothing/linen
- Maintain adequate stocks of supplies at all times
- Ensure chemicals are available for washing and the correct wash cycle is used for all loads
- Ensure heavily soiled items are handled in line with Infection Control Procedures
About you
You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles, you will need
- Interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
- Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision
- Experience working in a commercial laundry facility and/or in working in a health care facility
