About the role
We are looking for Personal Care Assistants to bring joy to our resident’s day. Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:
- Providing support and care according to the Care Plan and residents preferences and strengths
- Applying person-centred care approaches to all interactions with residents
- Considering the residents individual needs, stage of life, development and strengths when engaging in support activities
What you’ll do:

Provide consistently high-quality care that meets each resident’s unique needs and enhances their daily living experience.

Support residents with daily activities in line with their care plans and personal preferences, ensuring dignity and choice at every step.

Adapt support activities to reflect each resident’s life stage, strengths, and goals, prioritizing tasks flexibly to respond to changing needs.

Create trust and empowerment through respectful, compassionate interactions that make residents feel valued and understood.

Apply person-centred principles in all interactions, focusing on what matters most to each individual.

Assist residents in maintaining a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment that supports independence and quality of life.

Actively contribute to the implementation of Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring residents have choice and control over their care.

Record care activities clearly and promptly in accordance with organizational policies

Respond quickly and professionally to residents, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect and collaboration.
About you:
You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles, you will need:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
- Previous experience working in an aged care facility.
- Ability to build effective relationships and work within a team
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and completed NDIS Workers Orientation Module
