About the role 

We are looking for part time Personal Care Assistants to bring joy to our resident’s day.  Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:

• Providing support and care according to the Care Plan and residents preferences and strengths
• Applying person-centred care approaches to all interactions with residents
• Considering the residents individual needs, stage of life, development and strengths when engaging in support activities
• Shifts and days as listed below, please make sure you are able to work all days and shifts in the option listed and list your preference for option 1 or 2 with your application please:

  Option 1

  Week 1

  Thursday -4PM- 9PM

  Saturday -3PM -10PM

  Week 2- 

  Friday – 7am -2PM

  Saturday and Sunday – 3PM-10PM

   

  Option 2 

  Week 1

  Saturday and Sunday – 8am to 1PM

   

  Week 2

  Monday 7AM- 3PM

  Saturday and Sunday – 8am to 1PM

About you

You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles, you will need:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation), or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Ageing Support
• Previous experience working in an aged care facility 
• Ability to build effective relationships and work within a team
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
