About the role
VMCH is on the lookout for TWO passionate Physiotherapists to join our Home Care team. This is a 12-month full-time opportunity based in Wantirna, with work across metropolitan Melbourne, where you will help older adults stay active, independent and living their best lives, all while enjoying great rewards, a supportive team and a workplace that values positivity, growth and community.
As part of our Allied Health team within the At Home Aged Care (AHAC) service, you’ll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy services to elderly clients under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP). These roles are pivotal in helping clients remain independent and safe in their homes and communities.

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored interventions aligned with aged care quality standards
- Collaborate with clients to identify goals and develop care plans
- Provide group-based programs focused on cognition, balance, wellness, and reablement
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, occupational therapists, and care coordinators
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet billable hour targets
- Travel across aged care planning regions as required
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
- Strong clinical assessment and report writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Metropolitan Melbourne
- Valid Police Check and Australian working rights
