Property Support Officer

  • Part Time Position – 4 days per week | City location, close to Parliament Station

We are looking for a Property Support Officer who loves organising, problem‑solving and keeping the wheels turning—especially across our Affordable Housing and Disability Services portfolios.

What will do:

  • Be the admin engine for the Property team: meetings, notes, coordination and tidy records.
  • Code invoices (Affordable Housing & Disability Services), allocating subcontractor invoices to work orders in PAMS.
  • Log and assign work requests in PAMS, check for duplicates, and keep requesters in the loop.
  • Draft clear, compassionate resident communications (maintenance works & outage notices).
  • Lend a hand to Customer Care and back up the 1300 helpline during business hours.
  • Troubleshoot straightforward property requests and hand over to our 24/7 on‑call crew at day’s end.
  • File/forward stakeholder reports to Maintenance Officers and keep Linksafe and PAMS data neat.

You will thrive here if you…

  • Are confident with MS Office and comfortable in CRM/asset/work order systems (PAMS or similar).
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Manage time like a pro—especially when priorities compete.
  • Enjoy solving problems and closing the loop.
  • Have (or can obtain) a current Police Check.
  • Facilities/maintenance exposure, Aged Care or Retirement Living experience, asset management/work order software familiarity, and customer care experience
