Quality Advisor - Disablity

About the role

You will work with our Disability Services teams to ensure the effectiveness of the VMCH Quality Management System and to support governance by:

  • Monitoring quality of care and service systems through audits and data analysis
  • Collating and analysing service data to improve disability care and services
  • Identifying and reporting regulatory compliance risk and gaps
  • Accreditation, site visits and engaging with frontline staff

In addition, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality by leading an outcomes-based approach.

This position is for 12-month Fixed Term position reporting the Chief Quality Officer. 

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Experience in quality or management within a service context.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the disability sector, including NDIS procedure standards.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, families and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • AHPRA registration desirable.
