About the role
You will work with our Residential Aged Care teams to ensure the effectiveness of the VMCH Quality Management System and to support governance by:
- Monitoring quality of care and service systems through audits and data analysis
- Collating and analysing quality of care indicators
- Identifying and reporting regulatory compliance risk and gaps
In addition, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality by leading an outcomes-based approach.
This position is for full time position reporting the Chief Quality Officer.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Experience in quality or management within a service context.
- Up-to-date knowledge of aged care and the reforms happening in the sector.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with residents, families, and staff.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Registered Nurse qualification and experience desirable.
