About the role
Reporting to the Chief Legal and Risk Officer, the Risk Manager is responsible for ownership of enterprise risk frameworks, and broader management of risk across all of the organisation’s operations, including critical incident and business continuity management. This role is also responsible for reviewing insurance requirements and managing insurance questions that may arise from the business, as well as managing the internal audit process.
About you
You have a degree in Law, Commerce or Finance, or equivalent, ideally with a minimum of 5 years' risk management and/or insurance experience.
Confident and resourceful in your approach, you have outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport, negotiate and form relationships with people at all levels.
You have excellent writing and analytical/numerical skills, including a demonstrated ability to prepare reports using clear, concise language and data. You have exceptional attention to detail and organise information into a logical sequence and include content appropriate for the purpose and audience.
Your highly developed planning and work organisation skills allow you to manage competing priorities and respond to emerging needs.
You have the ability to lead, motivate, support and influence organisational change, and a commitment to achieving a top-down, bottom-up risk awareness culture.
