About the role

We are looking for a skilled Roster Coordinator for our Disability Services Rostering Team to coordinate the rostering of services for our SDA’s and Disability Direct Care clients.  

In this role you will be  

  • Develop and maintain staff rosters, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs and requirements.
  • Handle scheduling conflicts and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, and regulations.
  • Communicate roster changes and updates to staff in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on staffing levels and attendance.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.

 

About you

You will be an excellent communicator dealing with a diverse range of clients and staff.  You will be able to ‘think on your feet’ to resolve issues as they arise, and you will have a strong attention to detail.

Skills and Experience required

  • Tertiary qualifications in Disability or related discipline desired but not essential
  • Proven experience in roster coordination or a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children’s Check
