Senior Accounts Receivables Officer - Residential Funding

About the role

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer within our Residential Aged Care portfolio. This role is responsible for the development of the end-to-end Commonwealth funding claims preparation, submission, reconciliation and rectification relating to our 14 Residential Aged Care residences.

About you

You will have extensive previous experience in a similar role. You have excellent attention to detail and know the funding rules for appropriate claiming of subsidies and supplements, means-tested fee adjustments and communication skills to handle our internal and external customers as well as working with Services Australia. As a strong communicator you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Organised and methodical in your approach to work, you prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in an AR position in Aged Care
  • Extensive knowledge of Commonwealth Funding for Aged Care
  • Ability to reconcile accounts and rectify discrepancies.
  • Outstanding Customer Services skills
  • Ability to investigate and resolve enquiries.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to prepare monthly reports.
  • Experience with Epicor desirable, intermediate Excel skills
