About the role

Are you a passionate clinical leader driven by compassion, excellence, and innovation? VMCH is seeking a Senior Clinical Lead to ensure the highest quality of clinical services for residents, in line with our mission, vision, and values. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of older Australians, while guiding a dedicated team and championing best practice across our aged care services.

Role Expectations

  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and allied health staff
  • Ensure the delivery of consistently high-quality care to residents
  • Oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes
  • Actively manage clinical risk and escalate concerns when necessary
  • Support the performance, growth, and professional development of the Clinical Services team
  • Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Act, Accreditation Standards, and all relevant legislation
  • Maintain the highest standards across all areas of clinical service

About you 

  • Lead and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care and support.
  • Strategically manage resources in line with current policies and funding models.
  • Promote and uphold the values of cultural diversity, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).
  • Foster strong communication channels with clients, families, and stakeholders.

Skills and experience

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • In-depth knowledge of Aged Care sector policies and funding models.
  • Proven leadership and team collaboration experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and organisational abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity, EEO, and WHS principles.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Check and Victorian driver’s license.

Additional Information:

Some rostered on-call work required.

Travel between sites may be necessary.
