About the role

We are looking for a seasoned and dynamic Senior Manager to join our Retirement Living team. In this pivotal role, reporting to the Chief Retirement Living Officer, you will lead operational excellence, drive strategic growth, and ensure exceptional service delivery across our retirement living portfolio. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operational management, with a strong focus on compliance with the Retirement Living Act.

About you 

You will be an experienced Senior Manager with the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team, foster exceptional customer service to strengthen resident relationships, and drive sales initiatives to sustain high occupancy levels.

 

  • Proven management experience in Retirement Living, Aged Care or Hospitality.
  • Extensive knowledge of legislative requirements, including the Retirement Living Act.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive business growth and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of growth strategies for retirement living and affordable homes.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Commitment to VMCH’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence, National Police Check, required
