About the roleAs the Talent Acquisition Specialist – Residential Aged Care, you will partner with hiring managers across the organisation to discuss and deliver on current and future recruitment needs. You will collaborate to identify hiring requirements, develop a deep understanding of teams, positions they recruit and what great candidates would look like.
What your day may look like:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, gathering relevant compliance and reference checks, to making offers and onboarding new hires.
- Develop and implement innovative and effective recruitment strategies and campaigns, using various channels and platforms, to attract and engage diverse and high-quality talent.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hiring managers, candidates, and the wider People Services team.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our talent acquisition function, by identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Administrative duties (i.e. writing adverts, managing candidates, compliance checks, generating contracts and candidate onboarding).
About you
- Previous end-to-end recruitment experience from within the Aged Care sector is essential.
- The ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and provide a high level of recruitment and talent advice.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and administration skills.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and experience using Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience utilising a variety of candidate attraction strategies and have a keen interest in embracing new technologies.
- Passionate about candidate management, ensuring respect, care, and timely feedback for every candidate.
- Be happy to contribute to and highlight our employee value proposition to prospective candidates.
- You will have outstanding time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities. Trust us, you will have many plates spinning at once!
