About the role

VMCH is seeking a Technology Solutions Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will identify, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and business process improvements that support our strategic innovation agenda across aged care, disability, retirement living, and community services.    

About you

You will be an experienced Technology Solutions Analyst, with proven experience in technology evaluation and solution design.  You will lead business analysis gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, to then source technology solutions for feasibility, scalability and strategic alignment.  You will drive innovation, prepare process maps and presentations for internal stakeholders and external vendors.  You will require exception communication skills.

Skills and experience:

  • Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels.
  • Strong requirements gathering and specification writing abilities.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and working in complex environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience.
  • Experience in the health care and/or aged care sectors.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models and packaged software implementation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and a quality orientation.

Desirable:

  • Experience with new software system implementations or major upgrades.
  • Business Analyst certification (PBA, IIBA)
