At VMCH, our Allied Health team plays a vital role in supporting older people to live with dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Corpus Christi, our welcoming aged care residence in Clayton, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Allied Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team for a 12-month parental leave contract.
Whether your background is in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Podiatry, or another allied health discipline, you will be part of a supportive environment where your expertise truly matters.
About the role
In this role, you will:
- Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred allied health services to residents
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence‑based interventions
- Work collaboratively with nursing, lifestyle, and clinical teams to optimise resident outcomes
- Support mobility, functional independence, pain management, and overall wellbeing
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Contribute to falls prevention, reablement, and restorative care programs
- Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

About you
You will bring:
- A recognised qualification in your allied health discipline
- Current AHPRA or relevant professional registration
- Experience in aged care, community health, or rehabilitation (preferred but not essential)
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
- A warm, empathetic approach and commitment to resident dignity
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, and proof of work rights in Australia
